FREEDOM+ is a conceptual design project that critiques the illusion of choice within subscription-based systems. While streaming platforms promote personalization and freedom, this project reveals how access and opportunity can be predetermined by the systems that shape them.

The interface intentionally mirrors the visual language of familiar streaming services, using clean layouts, tiered pricing, and guided onboarding to create an immediate sense of trust. Instead of selecting a subscription, users are assigned one based on social class. The three tiers—Lower Class, Middle Class, and Elite—offer dramatically different levels of access, protection, and opportunity, exposing how systems can appear equal while reinforcing inequality beneath the surface.

The user journey is intentionally designed to become increasingly restrictive. By replacing expected moments of choice with messages such as "Access has been assigned" and "User input not required," the interface exposes how familiar digital experiences can reinforce systems of inequality. Rather than simply presenting information, the project uses UX design as a vehicle for social critique.

The project extends beyond the interface to include environmental graphics, public advertising, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate how the concept functions across multiple touchpoints. By placing the work in familiar contexts, the design becomes more believable, strengthening its critique of systems that present predetermined outcomes as personal choice.
