Designed by Sound is an album cover created by interpreting music visually, designing purely from how the chosen song felt, without ever seeing the original artwork. This approach required translating mood, rhythm, and atmosphere into image form. While listening to “The Scotts,” I focused on its futuristic tones, heavy energy, and multidimensional, space-like sound. The final design reflects my personal interpretation of the track, demonstrating how sound can be transformed into visual storytelling through the use of color, form, and motion.

The design process began by analyzing the song’s beat, texture, and tonal shifts to identify visual elements that could represent its intensity and futuristic feel. I explored several conceptual sketches before refining the strongest direction into a cohesive composition. Color, lighting, and perspective were developed to echo the music’s dimensional quality and sense of forward motion. All elements of the final artwork were created entirely in Adobe Photoshop. The result is an expressive album cover that translates sound into a bold, immersive visual identity.
